To date, no 3PL offer China-wide coverage as provincial regulations continue to affect the flow of cargo between different regions. To cope with these constraints, Elee's approach to transportation in China is two fold:
Overnight deliveries:
In Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and their surroundings, we use our own fleet of 2, 4 and 5 tons hardtop trucks equipped with tailboards.
Long haul deliveries:
For long haul deliveries, Elee relies on strategic partners meeting the high standard requirements of our subcontractor program:
- We contract with a selection of transporters which meet consistently defined standards for safety, on-time service, efficiency, reliability and costs.
- We manage contractors through Contractor Management Programs that focuses on the quality and the consistency of the delivered service levels as well as the ability to integrate in their offers service functions bringing value: performance measurement design & system based implementation, service shortage identification, corrective action implementation, regular Reporting.
In order to guarantee optimum transport conditions, we deliver goods on shrink wrapped pallets in sealed trucks.
