Description:
The candidate will develop an action plan for a cost-effective warehouse operation. He is expected to increase the efficiency of the warehouse operations (reduce costs, improve productivity and service levels, improve work spirit). He will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of the logistics operation to reach the company's internal targets. He will be responsible for the overall material movements and for the stock accuracy in the warehouse. His duties include:
- Drives the alignment of standard operating procedures and follows up on execution
- Organizes, leads, motivates, trains and supervises warehouse supervisors to ensure adherence to working processes and all security, safety and housekeeping rules as directed by the company
- Participate in the drive on customer service improvement
- Streamline and improve supplier management including efficiency of measurements and implementation of KPIs
- Supervises the management and the inventory control of product, prevent damage, stock disappearance; maintain physical & data inventory accuracy
- Coordinates with internal departments to consistently improve the overall company performance service levels
Requirements:
The position requires
- Bachelor's degree and above
- at least 5 years experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years in management position
- Good knowledge and experience in warehouse management and operation
- Knowledge of environmental issues relating to warehousing activities
- Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
